- Date: 30th August – 23rd September
- Venue: Concert Halls across the city
The classical music festival, which runs over the course of 25 festival days, will showcase over 80 performances by 20 national and international orchestras, choirs and chamber ensembles. Events will take place in venues across the city such as the Philharmonie, Pierre Boulez Saal, the Großer Sendesaal of Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg and the Konzerthaus. A musical feast for classical music lovers that is not to be missed.

- Venue: Cinestar cinema at Sony Center, Potsdamer Platz
With around 50 films showing, The Fantasy Filmfest has become one of the largest alternative film festivals in Berlin. A special mix of movies for crime and horror movie buffs, some of which being European and world premieres. The Cinestar Sony Center will be the epicentre for almost a week and a half for scary horrors and passionate dramas.
Berlin Art Week
- Date: 11th – 15th September
- Venue: Across the city
Art lovers from all over the world congregate in Berlin for the highlight of the Berlin Art Year, Berlin Art Week where they will discover, discuss and celebrate artists work which can be seen in galleries across the city.
Expect to see fairs, exhibitions and events presenting the work of national and international artists.

- Venue: Postbahnhof
If you are going to be in Berlin in September and October, it would be a shame to miss out on trip to Spreewiesn Oktoberfest. Filled with everything you would expect and want to see there, an original Bavarian band, jugs of Lowenbrau and folk dressed in Dirndl and Lederhosen. One word of advice though, guests are fully encouraged to dress in the attire and join in on the Bavarian fun.

Lollapalooza Berlin is now into its 5th year and the 2-day mega music festival promises to make this one just as memorable as those before.

English Superband Muse will be delighting fans when they play at the Mercedes-Benz Arena this September. Expect the crowd to go crazy when they hear the start of the likes of Supermassive Black Hole and Starlight.

Get your eyeliner at the ready, the godfather of shock rock, Alice Cooper will be in town. He’ll be entertaining his fans with his heavy metal classics as well as his renowned horror stage performance. No doubt an evening to remember.

- Venue: Mercedes-Benz Arena
There are not many people who are known by one name alone, but this September, The Mercedes-Benz Arena will be hosting International Superstar and Goddess of Pop, Cher at the end of the month. Fans will be turning out in their droves to see the larger than life icon and expecting to hear and sing along to classics like Do You Believe, If I Could Turn Back Time & I Got You Babe.
